On Friday (March 13), the makers announced that KGF: Chapter 2 will hit the theatres on October 23, 2020. Kannada actor Yash received international recognition with director Prashanth Neel's pan-Indian film KGF: Chapter 1. Two years later, the sequel to the blockbuster flick is all set to hit the theatres this year.

'KGF: Chapter 2', which has already been shot 80 per cent, will go to Hyderabad for the final stage and the filming will be later completed in Bangalore and Kolar. Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has already begun shooting for his parts in the film along with actress Raveena Tandon.\
