Khuda Haafiz Movie Review: Vidyut Jammwal's Earnest Act Stops You From Bidding Goodbye To The Film

"Job hote hue bhi aisa lag raha ki lagatar apply kar rahi," says Nargis (Shivaleeka Oberoi) while expressing her nervousness during an arranged marriage meeting. To this, her suitor Sameer (Vidyut Jammwal) quips, "Mujhe bhi, thank god, matlab dono mein kuch toh common hai." Vidyut Jammwal who is known more for using his fists, sheds his 'Commando' avatar to play a common man in Faruk Kabir's romantic thriller Khuda Haafiz. What's Yay: Vidyut Jammwal, Action sequences, Stunning locations in Uzbekistan, Music What's Nay: No 'thrills' in the story Plot Khuda Haafiz opens with a matchmaking scene, in which 'computer ka doctor' Sameer (Vidyut Jammwal) and Nargis (Shivaleeka Oberoi) are introduced to each other by their parents. Post some 'akele mein baat-cheet' and a forgettable song, the duo get married. However, the newlyweds' world comes crashing down when they lose their jobs as a result of the 2008 global recession. The couple decides to take up a job in Noman, a fictional middle-eastern country on being told that "Noman ke tel ke saamne recession bhi pani nahin mangta." Nargis' job application gets accepted first, and she immediately leaves for the foreign land, hoping that her hubby would join her soon. However, a day later, Sameer receives an SOS call from Nargis, informing him that she has been abducted and is being ill-treated by unknown people. The next thing we know is, our hero lands up in Noman in search of his missing wife. With no immediate help from the Noman police and the Indian embassy, Sameer decides to take up the matter in his own hands with the help of a kind cabbie (Annu Kapoor). He is soon assisted by the local lawmakers (Shiv Panditt and Aahana Kumra), only to come across a shocking discovery. Direction Faruk Kabir's story about a good guy's fight against a gang of flesh-traders had the potential to be an engaging watch. Sadly, his done-to-death treatment to the film plays the main villain here. One can smell the twists and turns in the plot from a distance. Despite being tagged as a romantic thriller, Khuda Haafiz has very few thrills to offer. Minus Vidyut Jammwal, the film goes for a toss. Performances Vidyut Jammwal steps out of his action star image to play an ordinary man stuck in an extraordinary situation in Khuda Haafiz. There are a few moments in the film when you wait for the actor to knock down his opponents with his lethal punches and back flips. Thankfully, Jammwal keeps the action real, as expected from his character in the film. Watch out for the scene where the actor is trapped in a narrow corridor with a whole bunch of armed men who are ready to beat him to pulp! However, when it comes to emoting in scenes, Vidyut goes a bit off track and needs to buckle up. Shivaleeka Oberoi's damsel-in-distress act barely offers her a scope to surprise us. Also, her chemistry with Vidyut Jammwal is cold as ice. Annu Kapoor gives a dignified performance and fits perfectly in the land of Noman. Shiv Panditt and Aahana Kumra put their best foot forward in the roles offered to them. However, their characters' fluctuating Arabic accent leaves you a tad unimpressed. Technical Aspects Jitan Harmeet Singh's lens capture some interesting frames in the stunning locations of Uzbekistan. The fight-and-chase sequences look more convincing and closer to reality. Sandeep Francis' sharper editing scissors could have trimmed down the film by several minutes. Music Sonu Nigam's soulful voice in 'Aakhri Kadam Tak' lingers for long. 'Mera Intezaar Karna' and 'Jaan Ban Gaye' make for an ethereal listen. The title track 'Khuda Haafiz' wins you over with Vishal Dadlani's deep voice and some heartfelt lyrics. Verdict 'Mera intezaar karna, Mera intezaar karna, Zara aitbaar karna, Mera intezaar karna,' goes the lyrics of one of the songs in Khuda Haafiz. Just like that, you wait for the thrills in the film to knock you off your feet. Unfortunately, as and when they arrive, they barely touch you. Vidyut Jammwal's restrained performance stands out in this passable fare. We give 2.5 stars out of 5 for Vidyut Jammwal's Khuda Haafiz.

Sameera Reddy Says She Was Told She Was Too Dark, Too Broad; 'I Had To Constantly Try And Fit In'

We have often heard actors talking about how they are always under pressure to look perfect all the time. Some of them have even admitted to going under the knife to enhance their looks. Amid this, actress Sameera Reddy recently opened up about how she was expected to look a certain way and tried hard to fit in the industry.

Speaking about the beauty standards in Bollywood, the actress was quoted as saying, "I had to constantly try and fit in it and it really exhausted and tired me." Sameera Reddy Talks About Her Struggles She continued, "I don't regret it because that was my learning to learn to come to this point of loving myself unconditionally. You have to go through a point where you actually hate yourself because when you come to this point of hating yourself so much and break into pieces, you can put yourself back together in the most beautiful way possible."

'There Was Always Something That I Had To Fix,' Says Sameera She added, "It was not discrimination. More than that it was more of you have to look a certain way, whether you have to pad your chest or hips. There was always something that I had to fix. When you meet somebody, you say, ‘Wow, you are looking so good, you have lost so much weight'. My problem is that as a society that is something that we applaud." The actress said that people are always applauding the wrong things and that as a society, we need to change that.

Sameera Reddy On If She Regrets Doing All Those Things "That was my job and it was expected from me and I had to do it. And I'm sure girls today still have to do it. I can't blame anybody because that was the requirement of being a glamorous actress. There are many girls who have a great body and who are naturally slim and fair and it was not as exhausting as I did," the actress was quoted as saying by the entertainment portal. Sameera had started a campaign #ImperfectlyPerfect during her second pregnancy, in which she had addressed body image issues and advocated self-love. The actress had also opened up about experiencing postpartum depression and putting on a lot of weight after her first pregnancy. Speaking about work, Sameera was last seen in the 2013 Kannada film Varadhanayaka.

How Much Bollywood Films Earned From OTT Releases So Far

The coronavirus pandemic caused the entire world to go into a state of lockdown. While it seems that life is limping back to normal, the threat of the virus still looms large. The current state of things has resulted in several Bollywood films releasing on OTT platforms.

While these films didn’t have a digital release out of choice, the producers still managed to make some pretty big numbers by selling exclusive streaming rights. Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani starrer Laxmmi Bomb was reportedly sold for a whopping 125 crores. The multi starrer drama Bhuj: The Pride of India featuring Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi, Sharad Kelkar and Ammy Virk was sold for Rs. 110 crore. 

Further, Abhishek Bachchan and Ileana D’Cruz’s Big Bull and Vidyut Jammwal starrer Khuda Haafiz were sold in a package deal with Big Bull going for Rs 40 crore and the latter, for Rs 10 crore. Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana’s comedy-drama Gulabo Sitabo was sold for Rs. 65 crore. 

Streaming rights for Vidya Balan and Sanya Malhotra starrer Shakuntala Devi were purchased for Rs. 40 crore. The Gunjan Saxena biopic was sold for Rs 50 crore.

Lastly, the three films that initially meant for theatrical release, which shifted base to OTT later on - Sadak 2, Lootcase and Dil Bechara were acquired for Rs. 70 crore, Rs 10 crore and Rs 40 crore respectively.

‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’: Sachin Tyagi and few others test positive for Covid-19; shooting stalled?

 

Owing to the restrictions eased down during the unlock phase, several serials and film resumed shooting. Despite following all the standard procedure of operations set by the state government, reports of cast and crew testing positive for the novel Coronavirus doesn’t cease.

According to a report in SpotboyE, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ fame actor Sachin Tyagi has tested positive for Covid-19. And not only him few other cast and crew members of the show have also contracted the deadly virus forcing the makers to stall the shoot.

A source was quoted saying in the Entertainment portal as, “Sachin Tyagi was running a fever and hence he got himself tested. His results came day before, after which a few other crew members who also felt symptoms, got themselves tested. Some of them came negative and some positive. As of now, more members of the show including actors have got their tests done and now they are waiting for the results.”

Sachin plays Mohin Khan’s father Manish Goenka on the show. Refraining from sharing any details, Sachin told the portal, “I can’t say anything on this and request you to get in touch with the productions.”

The cast and crew of the show were shooting in the Filmcity until 10 am this morning but when the reports of the crew members came positive, the shooting were halted. The makers of the show are yet to release any statement regarding the halt of the shoot or the cast and crew’s health update.

किलोको १२ रुपैयाँमा नबिकेको गोलभेडाको भाउ कसरी पुग्यो १०० ?

 ८ भदौ, काठमाडौं । पाँचखाल, काभ्रेका कृषक गोविन्द रम्तेलले बारीमा फलाएको गोलभेडाको मूल्यले मूल्य पाएन । अघिल्लो वर्ष जेठमा प्रतिकिलो ७२ रुपैयाँमा बेचेको गोलभेडा यो वर्ष लकडाउन कारण १२ रुपैयाँमा बिक्री गर्न नसकेको उनको दुखेसो थियो ।

यसको अघिल्लो साता कञ्चनपुरका किसान भरतबहादुर चौधरीले त प्रतिकिलो एक रुपैयाँ किलोमा लैजानभन्दा पनि गोलभेडा बिक्री नभएका गुनासो गरेका थिए । त्यही कारण किसानले फलाएको हजारौं किलो गोलभेडा बारीमै कुरियो ।

तर त्यसको तीन महिना नबित्दै बजारमा गोलभेडाको भाउ थोकबजारमा प्रतिकिलो ७० रुपैयाँ हाराहारी पुग्यो ।

कालीमाटी तरकारी बजारमा भदौ ८ गते ठूलो गोलभेडाको प्रतिकिलो मूल्य ६८, सानो गोलभेडा ५५ र टनेलको सानो गोलभेडा ६२ रुपैयाँमा कारोबार भइरहेको कालीमाटी फलफूल तथा तरकारी बजार विकास समितिले जनाएको छ । तर खुद्रा उपभोक्ता मूल्य त गोलभेडाको भाउ प्रतिकिलो १०० रुपैयाँ हाराहारी पुगेको छ ।

मागअनुसार तरकारी छैन

बजारको मागअनुसार उत्पादन नभएकाले तरकारीको मूल्य आकासिएको व्यापारीहरुको दाबी छ ।

कालीमाटीमा आउने तरकारीको मूख्य स्रोतमा कम उत्पादन भएको र भएको तरकारीमा खुला बजारमा खोसाखोस भएकाले मूल्य बढेको फलफूल तथा तरकारी थोक बजार व्यवसायी संस्थाले जनाएको छ ।

‘काठमाडौंमा तरकारी भित्रिने दोलखा, पाँचखाल, धादिङ, चितवन, मकवानपुर र नुवाकोटमा नै उत्पादन कम भएको छ,’ संस्थाका अध्यक्ष गीता अचार्यले भने । दैनिक दुई गाडी तरकारी झर्ने आफ्नो पसलमा मुस्किलले एक गाडी आएको उनले सुनाए ।

बल्खु तरकारी तथा फलफूल बजारका व्यवस्थापक मोहन बस्नेतले पनि उत्पादन घट्दाको असर बजारमा देखिएको बताए । चाड पर्व र लकडाउनका कारण कम उत्पादन हुँदा तरकारी खोसाखोस हुने अवस्था आएको उनले बताए ।

लकडाउन र कोरोना महामारीका कारण कृषक आत्तिनु र समयमै मल बिउ नपाउनुको असर बजारमा देखिएको उनको दाबी छ । ‘रोपेको ४५ देखि ७० दिनमा तरकारी बजारमा आउने समय हुन्छ’ बस्नेतले भने, ‘तरकारी रोप्ने बेला कोरोनाको डरले विगतको अनुपातमा खेती नै भएन ।’

बजारमा आउने तरकारी घट्यो

सामान्य अवस्थामा कालीमाटी तरकारी बजारमा दैनिक ७÷८ लाख किलो तरकारी भित्रिने गरेको थियो । यो विस्तारै घट्दै गएको बजार विकास समितिले जनाएको छ ।

गतवर्ष ७ भदौमा ७ लाख २२ हजार किलो तरकारी भित्रिएको थियो भने यसपटक ३ लाख २४ हजार किलो मात्र आएको छ । गतवर्ष भदौ ८ मा ६ लाख ५६ हजार किलो तरकारी भित्रिएकोमा यसपटक ४० हजार किलो मात्रै आएको छ ।

बजारमा तरकारी कम आउनुको कारण निषेधाज्ञा मात्रै नपाई उत्पादन नै घटेको हुनसक्ने बजार विकास समितिका उपनिर्देशक एवं सूचना अधिकारी विनय श्रेष्ठ बताउँछन् ।

त्यसलाई पाँचखालका किसान गोविन्द रम्तेलले पुष्टि गरे । ‘ऋण गरेर लगाएको गोलभेडा १२ रुपैयाँमा पनि नविकेपछि थप तरकारी लगाएनौं’ उनी भन्छन्, ‘लकडाउन कति लम्बिने हो भन्ने अन्योल भएपछि तरकारी रोप्ने खेतमा धान रोप्यौं ।’

बजारमा मूल्य उतार चढाव

असारको तुलनामा कालीमाटी फलफूल तथा तरकारी बजारमा साउन १४ गतेसम्म ३६ प्रकारका तरकारीको मूल्य बढेको थियो । यो अवधिमा आलुको मूल्य थोकमै ७० देखि १०९ प्रतिशतसम्म मूल्य बढेको थियो । यस्तै हरियो धनियाँको मूल्य सबै भन्दा धेरै ६८४ प्रतिशतसम्मले बढेको थियो । अकबरे खुर्सानी, भारतीय प्याज, गाजर, बन्दा, काउली, मुला लगायतका तरकारीको मूल्य निकै बढ्यो ।

साउन अन्तिम सातासम्म आइपुग्दा तरकारीको भाउ घट्यो । कालीमाटी फलफूल तथा तरकारी बजार विकास समितिकाअनुसार हरियो तरकारीको भाउ दुई सातामा ७५ प्रतिशतसम्मले सस्तिएको थियो ।

साउन १८ गतेको तुलनामा घिरौलाको प्रतिकिलो मूल्य ७५ प्रतिशत सस्तो भएको थियो भने प्रतिकिलो ३६० रुपैयाँ पुगेको हरियो धनियाँको भाउ ७३ प्रतिशत सस्तिएर थोकमा ९५ रुपैयाँमा आइपुगेको थियो । यस अवधिमा तिते करेला, गाजर, तने बोडी, टनेल तथा सानो गोलभेडाको मूल्यमा पनि उच्च गिरावट आएको थियो ।

निषेधाज्ञामा सामान्य मूल्यबृद्धि

निषेधाज्ञा सुरु भएपछि तरकारीको भाउ फेरि बढ्न थालेको छ । एक सातामा सानो र टनेल गोलभेडाको मूल्यमा निकै बढेको छ भने अरुमा सामान्य बृद्धि भएको छ ।

साउन ३२ गते २८ रुपैयाँमा पाउने सानो गोलभेडाको थोक मूल्य भदौ ८ मा ५५ रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ ।

टनेलको सानो गोलभेडा ३३ रुपैयाँबाट बढेर ६२ रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ भने भारतीय आलु ७ प्रतिशत, मुडेको आलु ८ प्रतिशत, सुकेको प्याज २५ प्रतिशत, बन्दा १० तथा काउली २२ प्रतिशत र मुलाको भाउ पाँच प्रतिशतले बढेको छ ।

निषेधाज्ञाका कारण सवारी साधन कम चल्नुका साथै तीज पर्वका कारण बजारमा तरकारी आयात कम भएकाले भाउ बढेको र सोमबारबाट पुनः घटेको व्यापारीहरु बताउँछन् ।

आपूर्ति चेनमा कोभिड असर

मकवानपुर थाहा नगरपालिकाका कृषक राजेन्द्र बिडारी लकडाउनमा मल बिउ नपाउने र बजार पनि सुनिश्चित नहुने डरका कारण खेती कम भएको बताउँछन् ।

वैशाख–जेठमा बजारमा लकडाउनले तरकारी नबिक्दा किसान हतोत्साहित भएर खेती कम गरेकाले अहिले तरकारी अभाव भएको बिडारी बताउँछन् । ‘तरकारी छोडेर मकै रोप्ने किसान यहाँ धेरै छन्’ उनले भने ।

कृषि विज्ञ डा. हरि दाहाल खेती गरेको बेलाको उत्पादनले बजार नपाएपछि कृषक पलायन हुन सक्ने बताउँछन् । ‘बजार मूल्यमा माग र उत्पादन तथा आपूर्तिको भूमिका हुने भएकाले कम उत्पादनले मूल्य उच्च हुन गएको हुन सक्छ,’ दाहालले भने ।

उनका अनुसार कोभिडको विश्वव्यापी असरका कारण भारतबाट हुने आयातमा पनि असर गरेको छ । त्यसलाई कालीमाटी फलफूल तथा तरकारी बजार विकास समितिका उपनिर्देशक विनय श्रेष्ठले पनि स्वीकार गर्छन् ।

उनका अनुसार कोभिडका कारण भारतबाट आउने तरकारीको हिस्सा घट्दै गएको छ । यसले तरकारीको बजार भाउलाई भने बढाउन भूमिका खेलेको छ ।

कोरोनाबाट ७ जनाको मृत्यु, ७४३ संक्रमित थपिए

 

८ भदौ, काठमाडौं । कोरोना भाइरस (कोभिड–१९) को संक्रमणबाट थप ७ जनाको मृत्यु भएको छ । काठमाडौंका २ जना, सुनसरी, मोरङ, पर्सा, सिराहा, धनुषा र रुपन्देहीका एकएक जनाको मृत्यु भएको छ । यससँगै मृतकको संख्या १६३ पुगेको छ ।

• काठमाडौंको कागेश्वरी–९ की ४८ वर्षीया महिलाको त्रिवि शिक्षण अस्पतालमा मृत्यु भएको छ । मुटु, मिर्गौला र पित्तथैलीको समस्या लिएर २८ साउनमा अस्पताल भर्ना भएकी उनलाई त्यहीदिन कोरोना संक्रमण पुष्टि भएको थियो ।
• काठमाडौंकी ७४ वर्षीय कोरोना संक्रमित पुरुषको पाटन अस्पतालमा उपचारका क्रममा मृत्यु भएको छ । उनी भदौ ६ गते अस्पताल भर्ना भएका थिए ।
• मोरङको विराटनगर–८ का ६५ वर्षीय पुरुषको कोशी अस्पताल कोभिड–१९ उपचार केन्द्रमा मृत्यु भएको छ । आइतबार कोरोना पुष्टि भएका उनलाई श्वासप्रश्वासमा समस्या भएपछि त्यही दिन अस्पताल भर्ना भएका थिए ।
• पर्साको बिन्दबासिनी गाउँपालिका–३ की ७० वर्षीया बुद्धाको मृत्यु भएको छ । क्षयरोगबाट पीडित उनलाई श्वासप्रश्वासमा समस्या भएपछि शनिबार नारायणी अस्पताल भर्ना गरिएको थियो । उपचारकै क्रममा कोरोना पुष्टि भएपछि नारयणीकै आईसीयूमा सारिएको थियो ।
• सिराहाका २२ वर्षीय पुरुषको बीपी कोइराला स्वास्थ्य विज्ञान प्रतिष्ठान, धरानमा मृत्यु भएको छ । श्वास प्रश्वासको समस्या लिएर २ भदौमा भर्ना भएका उनको संक्रमण पुष्टिपछि आईसीयूमा उपचार भइरहेको थियो ।
• धनुषाका ७६ वर्षीय कोरोना संक्रमित पुरुषको पाटन अस्पतालमा उपचारको क्रममा मृत्यु भएको छ । उनी साउन २५ गते अस्पताल भर्ना भएका थिए ।
• रुपन्देही, बटवलका ५४ वर्षीय पुरुषको शहीद धर्मभक्त राष्ट्रिय प्रत्यारोपण केन्द्रमा मृत्यु भएको छ । उनी मिर्गौला रोगबाट पीडित थिए ।

७४३ संक्रमित थपिए

काठमाडौंमा एकसहित ८ जनाको कोरोनाबाट मृत्यु : मृतकको संख्या १५७ पुग्यो

 

पछिल्लो २४ घण्टामा कोरोनाबाट थप ८ जनाको मृत्यु भएको छ। योसँगै मृतकको संख्या १५७ पुगेको स्वास्थ्य मन्त्रालयले जनाएको छ ।  मृत्यु हुनेमा काठमाडौंका १ महिला, रुपन्देहीमा १ महिला र ३ पुरुषसहित ४ जना, मोरङका १ पुरुष , सुनसरीका १ पुरुष र पर्सामा १ महिलाको कोरोनाबाट मृत्यु भएको स्वास्थ्य तथा जनसंख्या मन्त्रालयका प्रवक्ता डा. जागेश्वर गौतमले पुष्टि गरेका हुन्। थप ८ जनाको मृत्यु भएसँगै मृतकको संख्या १ सय ५७ पुगेको छ।

यसैगरी पछिल्लो २४ घण्टामा ७४३ जनामा कोरोना भाइरस (कोभिड-१९) संक्रमण पुष्टि भएको छ। यो सहित संक्रमितको संख्या ३२ हजार ६ सय ७८ पुगेको स्वास्थ्य मन्त्रालयका प्रवक्ता डा. गौतमले जानकारी दिए।

यस्तै मन्त्रालयका अनुसार १३ हजार ७ सय २५ जना कोरोनाका सक्रिय बिरामी छन्। संस्थागत आइसोलेसनमा ९ हजार १ सय ५४ जनाको उपचार भइरहेको छ भने क्वारेन्टाइनमा ११ हजार २ सय ७५ जना रहेका छन् । यस्तै होम आइसोलेसनमा ४ हजार ५ सय ६१ जना छन्।

२४ घण्टामा १७५ जना कोरोना जितेर डिस्चार्ज भएका छन्। योसँगै कुल डिस्चार्ज हुनेको संख्या १८ हजार ८०६ पुगेको छ। 

बारामा एकैदिन थपिए ९५ जना कोरोना संक्रमित

 

बारामा सोमबार ९५ जना कोरोना संक्रमित थपिएका छन्। कलैया उपमहानगरपालिका र जीतपुरसिमरा उपमहानगरपालिकामा एकैपटक ठुलो संख्यामा संक्रमित थपिएका हुन्। 

बाराका प्रहरी प्रवक्ता डिएसपी गौतम मिश्रकाअनुसार कलैया उपमहानगरमा ७६, जीतपुरसिमरामा १६ जनासहित अन्य तीन व्यक्तिमा कोरोना संक्रमण देखिएको छ। संक्रमितमध्ये केहीलाई अस्पताल ल्याउन थालिएको र केहीलाई घरमै आईशोलेट भएर बस्न अनुरोध गरिएको डिएसपी मिश्रले बताए। 

जीतपुरसिमरा उपमहानगरपालिकामा संक्रमित देखिएका १६ जनामध्ये ९ जना नेपाल आयल निगमको अमलेखगंजस्थित क्षेत्रिय डिपोमा कार्यरत कर्मचारी छन्। जीतपुरसिमरा उपमहानगरपालिका-२१ का वडाअध्यक्ष कृष्णबहादुर ठकुरीले निगमको प्रशासन र सरसफाई क्षेत्रमा कार्यरत ९ कर्मचारी र सात जना स्थानियमा संक्रमण पुष्टि भएको बताए।

जिल्लामा कोरोना संक्रमितको संख्या बढ्दै गएपछि अमलेखगंजमा शनिबार ८१ जनाको स्वाब संकलन गरी परीक्षणका लागि वीरगंज पठाइएको थियो। संक्रमित कर्मचारीमध्ये तीन जना वीरगंज, तीन जना अमलेखगंज र बाँकी अन्य स्थानका छन्। यसैगरी संक्रमित हुने अन्य सात स्थानीयमा ईन्धन ढुवानी गर्ने ट्यांकरका चालकसमेत छन्। 

वडाअध्यक्ष ठकुरीका अनुसार संक्रमित कर्मचारीलाई निगमले स्थानीय होटलमा आईशोलेट गर्ने तयारी गरेको छ। ‘कर्मचारीलाई निगमले आफ्नै खर्चमा होटलमा राख्ने भएको छ। ट्यांकर चालकको विषयमा भने चालक संघले निगमसँग समन्वय गरिरहेको छ’ वडाअध्यक्ष ठकुरीले भने। 

योसँगै बारामा संक्रमितको संख्या ६ सय ८५ पुगेको प्रहरी प्रवक्ता डीएसपी मिश्रले जानकारी दिए। संक्रमित भएकामध्ये दुई सय ५२ जना उपचारपछि घर फर्किएका छन्। कोरोना संक्रमणबाट बारामा १० जनाको मृत्यु भइसकेको छ। 
  

Vivo Y20 in works: Will make its way to Nepal

 

The Snapdragon 460 debuted with the launch of Oppo A53 and there are a handful of other devices in the pipeline. One such device is the Oppo Vivo Y20. Courtesy of Mukul Sharma, the device has leaked online with almost all of its specs. Despite the higher number in its moniker, the Y20 looks to be an inferior device to the Vivo Y19. Vivo Y20: Everything we know right now

The Y20 will be the first smartphone from the company to house the new Snapdragon 460. Its an octa-core processor based on 11nm node. It features eight Kyro 240 cores. Graphics are handled by Adreno 610. It comes with support for Vulkan 1.1. The phone will come with 4GB of RAM. There is no information about internal storage and other memory configurations.

The device will feature a 6.1-inch HD+ Halo Full View display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It has the sunrise design on the back with the rays originating from the rectangular camera bump. Vivo Y20 will be available in two color options – Obsidian Black and Dawn White. The capacitive fingerprint sensor is placed on the side.

The Vivo Y20 will feature a triple camera setup on the back. The 13MP primary sensor is accompanied by a macro sensor and a depth sensor. Both the auxiliary sensors make use of 2MP sensors. If we compare this setup to that on the Vivo Y19, it’s a massive downgrade. First, the size of the primary sensor has been reduced to 13MP from 16MP. Similarly, the 8MP ultra-wide camera has been turned down for a macro sensor.

On the front, there will be an 8MP camera sensor for selfies instead of the 16MP camera in the Y19.

The device will feature a massive battery of 5,000mAh. Like its predecessor, the Vivo Y20 will also support fast charging to up to 18W. The phone will ship with Funtouch OS 10.5 based on Android 10.

Vivo Y20 Expected Availability

As most of the specs have already been leaked, we expect the company to make the device official soon. The device will make its way to India before landing in Nepal. We will have to wait for the official announcement for complete specs and pricing of Vivo Y20.

Oppo F17 Pro teased as the Sleekest Phone of the year

 We thought Oppo was done with the F-series before the company announced the F15 in the first quarter of 2020. And now the company is working on its successor – Oppo F17. The Oppo F17 will debut alongside its Pro variant. Let’s take a look at all the rumors, leaks, expected launch, and availability of Oppo F17 and F17 Pro.

Sleekest Phone of the year

Oppo has been teasing the upcoming Oppo F17 Pro as the sleekest phone of this year. The phone is slim with just 7.48mm thickness. Similarly, the phone weighs only 164 grams. Rumors suggest that the phone will have 160.14 x 73.7 x 7.48-mm profile. It will sport a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution. Unlike the F15 that came with a waterdrop style notch, the F17 Pro will come with a pill-shaped cut out for the dual-selfie camera.

At the back, we will be looking at a sunrise design with a square camera bump. The device will be available in three color options – Matte Black, Magic Blue, and Metallic White.

The phone will be powered by MediaTek Helio P95. It is not the most demanded smartphone chipset in the market, but hey, Oppo has finally decided for fresh air after sticking to the Helio P70 for two consecutive generations. The phone will be available with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. The device will feature a 4,000mAh battery with support for 30W VOOC Flash Charging.

On the back, there are four cameras enclosed inside the square camera bump. The camera setup looks unchanged, at least on paper. The 48MP primary camera will be accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. In addition to this, there are two 2MP sensors.

Oppo F17

Oppo F17 will be slightly heavier at 163 gm. It will measure 159.82 x 72.8 x 7.45mm. Oppo F17 will sport a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution. Unlike the Pro variant, it will feature a single 16MP camera enclosed by a waterdrop style notch. It will be available in three color options – Dynamic Orange, Navy Blue, and Classic Silver.

The phone will be powered by Snapdragon 662. It will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage onboard. The quad-camera setup looks similar to that of the Pro model except for the 16MP primary sensor. Other details like the battery, fast charging, and under-display fingerprint sensor will be the same as that of the Oppo F17 Pro.

Moto G9 With Triple Rear Cameras, Snapdragon 662 SoC Launched in India: Price, Specifications comming soon on nepal

 Moto G9 has been launched in India as Motorola's new smartphone for the masses. The new model comes a little more than five months after the Lenovo-owned company unveiled the Moto G8 that didn't reach India but debuted in Brazil in March. As a successor to the Moto G8, the Moto G9 offers a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 20W fast charging, and a larger, 6.5-inch display. The Moto G9 retains the company's water-repellent design that was featured on the Moto G8 and earlier Moto G-series phones. Moreover, the Moto G9 will compete against the likes of Redmi Note 9 Pro, Samsung Galaxy M21, and Realme 6i.

Moto G9 price in India

Moto G9 price in India has been set at Rs. 11,499 for the single, 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The smartphone comes in two distinct colour options — Forrest Green and Sapphire Blue — and will be available for purchase through Flipkart. Furthermore, the first sale of the Moto G9 will take place at 12pm (noon) on August 31.

In terms of storage, the Moto G9 includes 64GB of onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB). The smartphone has a range of connectivity options that includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, FM radio, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and a sar sensor. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Moto G9 packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 20W fast charging and is touted to deliver up to two days of battery life on a single charge. Besides, the phone measures 165.21x75.73x9.18mm and weighs 200 gram

आगामी नोभेम्बरमा हुने चुनावमा वर्तमान राष्ट्रपति डोनल्ड ट्रम्प र जोए बाइडेनबीच कडा प्रतिष्पर्धा हुने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ । ट्रम्प रिपब्लिकन पार्टीको तर्फबाट उम्मेदवार हुन् भने बाइडेन डेमोक्रेटिकका उम्मेदवार ।

सोही क्रममा उपराष्ट्रपति बाराक ओबामाकी पत्नी मिसेल ओबामाले ट्रम्पलाई ‘गलत राष्ट्रपति’ भन्दै टिप्पणी गरेकी छन् । ‘डोनल्ड ट्रम्प हाम्रो समयकै गलत राष्ट्रपति हुन्,’ मिसेल ओबामाले भनिन् । ओबामाले मनोनयन अधिवेशनको पहिलो रात आफ्‍नो महत्वपूर्ण भाषणको क्रममा यस्तो आरोप लगाएकी हुन् ।

काठमाडौं उपत्यकामा थप २०५ जनामा कोरोना संक्रमण

 पछिल्लो २४ घण्टामा काठमाडौं उपत्यकामा थप  २०५  जनामा कोरोना भाइरस (कोभिड-१९) संक्रमण पुष्टि भएको छ।  विभिन्न प्रयोगशालमा गरिएको परीक्षणमा उपत्यकामा थप २०५ जनामा कोरोना पुष्टि भएको स्वास्थ्य तथा जनसंख्या मन्त्रालयका प्रवक्ता डा. जागेश्वर गौतमले जानकारी दिए।सोमबार मात्रै १६८ जनामा कोरोना संक्रमण पुष्टि भएको थियो। 

काठमाडौंका १३८ जना, ललितपुरका ५० जना र भक्तपुरमा १७ जना गरी कुल २०५ जनामा कोरोना पुष्टि भएको स्वास्थ्य मन्त्रालयका प्रवक्ता डा.'जागेश्वर गौतमले जानकारी दिए।

नेपालमा पछिल्लो २४ घण्टामा  एक हजार १६ जनामा संक्रमण पुष्टि भएको छ। २४ घण्टामा अहिलेसम्मकै यो सबैभन्दा बढी संक्रमण हो।  योसँगै नेपालमा कुल संक्रमितको संख्या २८ हजार दुई सय ७५ पुगेको छ।  

पछिल्लो २४ घण्टामा १३ हजार १६१ जनाको स्वाबको पीसीआर परीक्षण गर्दा अहिलेसम्मकै सबैभन्दा बढीमा कोरोना संक्रमण पुष्टि भएको हो ।  २४ घण्टामा ८५ जनाले कोरोना जितेका छन् । डिस्चार्ज हुनेको कुल संख्या भने १७ हजार ५८० पुगेको छ । देशभर सक्रिय संक्रमितको संख्या १० हजार ५ सय ६३ रहेको छ । 

२४ घण्टामा कोरोनाले सातजनाको मृत्यु भएको छ । योसँगै मृतकको संख्या ११४ पुगेको मन्त्रालयले जनाएको छ ।
