HP Victus 16 Overview:
Victus by HP is a new lineup of gaming laptops that will complement the existing Omen range of notebooks. HP is basically looking to make gaming more accessible to players that aren’t able to splurge on high-end laptops quite yet. For the time being, there’s only one entry in this series.
Design and Display
Here, HP Victus 16 borrows heavily from the Omen lineup in terms of design. It comes with sharp edges and a clean look. The Victus logo can be seen in a number of places, including underneath the panel, at the back, and on the speaker grills.

The laptop flaunts a 16.1-inch screen with up to a QHD resolution. In addition, the screen has a refresh rate of 165Hz, 300 nits brightness, EyeSafe low-blue light safety, and 100% sRGB color coverage.
Performance
In terms of performance, one can choose between Intel Core i7-11800H or AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor. Likewise, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 and AMD Radeon RX 5500M are among the GPU choices. The company is using a 5-way airflow with a 4-heatpipe configuration for more efficient heat dissipation.
On the storage front, the Victus 16 comes with up to 1TB of PCIe Gen4 SSD, dual SSDs in RAID 0 config, or Intel Optane memory. This is paired with up to 32GB of DDR4-3200 memory, The laptop uses the Omen font on the keyboard, as well as dedicated keys for the Omen Gaming Hub, power, and calculator.
