Squid Game 2 OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED by creator Hwang Dong-hyuk; REVEALS which characters will return

 Squid Game creator Hwang Dong-hyuk has announced that there will be a second season of Netflix series Squid Game after the superb response of the first season. The exact date has not yet been confirmed.

Korean web series Squid Game is all the rage everywhere – it has become a global phenomenon and is quite literally the only show on everyone's lips for the time being. Several great web series have come and gone, including this year, but few have managed to come close to the euphoria that is Squid Game. With such a rabid fan-following across the globe, it's only natural that the noise for a second season reached a crescendo sooner rather than later. However, with no word coming either from Netflix or the makers of the show, chatter of when there'll be a season 2, if at all, had reached a fever pitch.  So I almost feel like you leave us no choice! But I will say there will indeed be a second season of Squid Games. It’s in my head right now. Aryan Khan skips SIT summon for drugs case citing fever, 2 others accused questioned

Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, was summoned by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on November 7 in connection to the cruise drugs raid case. He failed to appear for the questioning citing fever.

According to NDTV, "The SIT, headed by the NCB's senior officer Sanjay Kumar Singh, reached Mumbai on Saturday, a day after the agency transferred to it the investigation in six cases, including the controversial cruise drugs case."

Aryan Khan appeared before the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on November 5 for the first time after he was granted bail in cruise drugs raid case by the Bombay High Court on October 28. He appeared in front of NCB with his lawyer Nikhil Maneshinde.

Officer Sameer Wankhede, who was heading the case, has now been removed from the drugs case involving Aryan Khan. He has also been removed from five other cases which were being led by him. All six cases have been transferred out of the agency's Mumbai unit allegations of extortion and a Rs. 8 crore payoff linked to the case involving Aryan are resolved. The case will now be taken by a SIT(Special Investigation Team) led by senior police officer Sanjay Singh. He will also be taking up the case involving NCP leader Nawab Malik's son-in-law. Malik has been leveling allegations against Wankhede and the anti-drugs agency for the past month.

Aryan Khan was detained by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on October 2, 2021, after the NCB raided a cruise ship. He was arrested on October 3 under Section 8(c), 20(b), 27, 28, 29, and 35 under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

NSA-level meet on Afghanistan: Terrorism, growing radicalisation, drug trafficking on the agenda.

 New Delhi:

 The NSA-level Regional Security Dialogue beginning day after tomorrow in the Capital is a message to the Taliban: the Central Asian republics, India, Russia and Iran, none of whom have recognised the new government in Kabul, have shared concerns about terrorism both within Afghanistan and the possibility of “export” to neighbours, drug trafficking and the growing possibility of civil war. 

There is also a growing awareness of the links between the IS-K and Pakistan, especially the ISI, its powerful military intelligence agency. Pakistan was invited for the meeting and probably realising it would be cornered for being the reason for the Afghanistan problem as opposed to being part of the solution, has publicly refused to attend. China, sources said, claimed it had scheduling problems and isn’t coming either, though it has promised to remain in touch. India had hoped the Chinese would attend and also hope that they will in the future.

The meeting of the national security advisor or equivalents of the five central Asian republics, Russia, Iran and India will be chaired by Ajit Doval, National Security Advisor. 

“There is consensus that Pakistan is the problem. There is full awareness that Pakistan has provided terrorists their bases, “ sources said. “There is a credibility gap. We know what Pakistan says and what Pakistan does.”

India does not recognise the Taliban and has not invited it. Some of the countries called have said they aren’t even thinking about the Taliban’s absence. Nor have members of the earlier Afghanistan state, like former President Hamid Karzai and CEO, Dr Abdullah Abdullah been called this time.  

Katrina Kaif wants Rohit Shetty to direct cop drama with her in lead; Archana Puran Singh has hilarious name for the film

 

Rohit Shetty's copverse never fails the cine buffs! Right from Ajay Devgn's Singham to Simmba to now Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif-starrer Sooryavanshi, the director's cop dramas are action and entertainment-packed. The lead actors display impeccable acting skills and never disappoint with their righteous personalities. However, we have to say, the copverse lacks a strong female figure and Shetty should definitely consider making a film of the kind with a female lead. 

Having said that, did you know Katrina actually pitched to Shetty that he should direct a cop drama with a female lead? Not just that, she even asked the director to cast her in the titular role. Yes, you are hearing this right. Katrina, on The Kapil Sharma Show, opened up about having this conversation with Shetty. The actress shared that the copverse needs a strong female figure and she wants to step up for the role. 

She, however, revealed that Shetty turned down her offer stating that since she has already starred in Sooryavanshi, she cannot be a part of the female cop drama.

While Katrina was narrating this incident, Kapil pitched that Katrina can give divorce to Sooryavanshi in reel-life and then star in a movie of her own. This idea appealed to Kat who turned to Archana Puran Singh and asked her what the cop drama, starring her, should be titled. She also told the veteran actress that the title should start from S as all of Shetty's films start from that letter. 

Archana being Archana quickly replied that the movie should be titled "Sweetie" (yes you can laugh). As soon as Archana said this, Kapil Sharma and Akshay Kumar started to laugh out loud. Not just them, even the audience was left in splits.
